During his graduation study in Chemistry in 1964 he yielded himself to the claims of the Lord Jesus Christ. The same year he was challenged to let others know the saving power of Christ and committed himself to serve Him. After involving in evangelistic ministry for 24 years through different organisations, he accepted the challenge to be the Executive Director cum Evangelist of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries in India to develop the integrated ministry of evangelism undergirded by Apologetics and Spiritual Discipline for the past fourteen years. He continues to involve in evangelistic ministries as an Evangelist-at-Large of RZIM Inc.

He has authored a book on Evangelism “Fishers of Men” and written many booklets. Haggai Institute has published his book on “Practical Evangelism” in 2002 for their Advanced Leadership training seminars. He has composed many Tamil songs and a few are sung by people in different languages all over India. His messages were aired through several Tamil Broadcasts like FEBA, Back to the Bible etc.

In recognition of his many years of ministry, the Hindustan Bible Institute and College has conferred him the “Doctoral Degree” (Honoris Causa). He is stationed in Chennai with his wife Ranie. Their daughter Shini along with her husband Robin is serving the Lord with Youth with A Mission in Colorado Spring, USA. William (Billy), their son is working as a Web Master at Kodi International School. He is stationed in Kodaikanal with his wife Beth and son Micah.
